Our second non-statutory consultation on the draft route alignment for Towy Usk, held from Wednesday 13 March to Wednesday 8 May 2024, is now closed.
We’d like to thank everyone who took part and provided valuable feedback.
While the consultation has closed, the project team will continue to engage with stakeholders and landowners as the project develops.
In our second non-statutory consultation we asked for feedback on the draft route alignment, including the proposed locations of wood poles, pylons, underground cables, and other infrastructure, along with any other factors you would like us to consider.
Next steps
Community input is invaluable in shaping the future of this project.
Thank everyone who took part. We are now reviewing all the feedback received from local people, local authorities, community councils, and national organisations to help us develop a final design for the project. We are also carrying out further environmental and technical assessments and surveys.
There will be another round of consultation, where people will be able to review and comment on the detailed designs and the draft Environmental Statement before the submission of a consent application, expected in 2025.
